Banjarbaru City official site has two languages to use, Indonesian and English. This English site contents static information about Banjarbaru temporarily. In further development, Banjarbaru City tries to give maximum information through publishing dynamic information for public in this English site.

To execute authority business given, government of Banjarbaru tries increasing amount and quality of state officer. Number of state officer in the year 2005 is 2776. Relates to quality of state officer, government tried increase education on duty through improvement Structural Training, Technical Training, and formal education. In the year 2005 state officer which have followed structural training of PIM II 28 officers, PIM III 86 officers, and PIM IV 483 officers and state officer having education post master 79 strata and 898 officers with S-1 degree.

Beside governmental education, government also tries increasing resource capacities state officer through activity of mutation and promotion of position/occupation and improvement of functional education of state officer. Government also tries increasing performance and prosperity of officer measured from lowering of sanction amounts, which in the year 2005 amounts to 20 cases.
